what the "Iron Rule" or "Silver Rule" or "Titanium Rule" is?
Come this evening and learn what Jesus has to say to you. This
service is a celebration!
Our evening services are a vital training time. We need indivi-

I THINK OF YOU AND I PRAY FOR YOU, TOO:
Often during a busy day, I pause for a minute to
silently pray,
I mention the names of those I love and treasured friends
I'm fondest of.
For it doesn't matter where we pray, if we honestly mean
the words that we say,
For God is always listening to hear the prayers that are
made by a heart that's sincere.
-Helen Steiner Rice
THE COST OF FOLLOWING GOD:
It cost Abraham the willingness to yield his only son.
It cost Esther the risk of her life.
It cost Daniel being cast into the den of lions.
It cost Meshack, Shadrack and Abed-nego being put
into the fiery furnace.
It cost Stephen death by stoning.
It cost Peter a martyr's death.
It cost Jesus His life.
DOES IT COST YOU ANYTHING?

RELAX - RELATE - RENEW
Special speaker for the weekend will be Rev. James Spruill.
New this year - Friday evening comedy night! Rev. Spruill
will share humorous stories of his growing-up years in his
"Lamar County Tales".
It is said that" laughter is the best medicine", and you will
have a healthy dose on this special evening.
Rev. Spruill is an elder in the Church of the Nazarene who
pastured for 39 years before entering into evangelism. He
is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University and attended
Nazarene Theological Seminary. Notable is his work with
native Haitian pastors for more than 20 years.
Worship Leader will be Rev. Steve Holmgren, the worship
pastor at Community Fellowship Church of the Nazarene
in Waynesboro, Virginia.
Annie Caudle, key contact person for our church, has posted
information and registration forms on the bulletin board in the
annex for those who would be interested in attending. There
are limited rooms, so you'll want to send your registration
forms in early. Deadline to register is February 12th.
(Registration fee is not refundable or transferable.)
See Annie this morning if you have other questions. You are
encouraged to go to ESCAPE. It's a great time to draw close
