Closing Hymn
There will be no evening service today, and there will also
be no Wednesday evening Prayer and Bible Study. All
evening services will resume following the Holidays. En-
joy the time with your family and friends.
Joyce and the pastor would like to thank everyone for the
many Christmas cards, gifts and expressions of love.
Your caring spirit made this Christmas season very spe-
cial. We would like to wish you a very blessed 2010!
Many of you were unable to attend last Sunday's service
due to the snow. As we receive today's offering, we hope
you will be able to include last Sunday's offering as well
as today's. Our expenses continued, and we appreciate
your financial faithfulness.
Joyce and the pastor are spending several days with their
daughter and family in Baltimore. They will be return-
ing later in the week and will be in the service next Sun-
day. If you need to contact the pastor, please call via his
cell phone (781)985-4555.
Patsy Scott is in charge of the town's food pantry. She
greatly appreciated the food we collected. She stated that
the need is extremely great, and the food supply is very
low. I told her our church would make collecting food an
on going ministry throughout the winter. Any dried and
canned food is needed, but she made a special request for
black eyed peas, soups, and canned vegetables. She also
said she could use cash donations when a special need
arises. Bring in any of your donations and place them
around the altar. "When did you see me hungry and fed
me?"
NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS
1. To have daily devotions - prayer and Bible reading!
2. Attend Sunday School and church each week!
3. Tithe!

For the Coming Year
"Let us give our work, our thoughts,
our plans, ourselves, our lives, our
loved ones, our influence, our all,
into His hand, and then, when we
have given all over to Him, there
will be nothing left for us to be
troubled about, or to make trouble
about."
-J. Hudson Taylor
A NEW YEAR IS NOT REALLY NEW IF WE
LIVE THE SAME OLD LIFE!
THIS NEW, NEW YEAR
There is a new, New Year, to live a day at a time;
Tune up the harp of your soul -ring out a merry
chime.
Nip buds of discontentment, plant seeds of love and
prayer,
Grow fragrant flowers of peace; let them bloom
everywhere.
Rest while you work or wait, worry is rust and decay;
Trust though you cannot see, and blessings will come
your way.
RESOLVE in 2010 that YOUR LIFE will show
that it is lived for Christ!
