TONIGHT:

Evening Service of Worship, Praise and Music, 6:00 p.m.

During the morning service, we are celebrating our denomination's

100th Anniversary.  This evening, we will focus on the biblical teach-

ing that distinguishes our church, "CALLED UNTO HOLINESS."

The message focus: Psalm 51:12 "Grant Me a Willing Spirit."  A

quote from this evening's message:  "Thankfully, God knows us

better than we know ourselves.  That's why He planted the desire

for purity deep within us.  He wouldn't plant a desire He didn't in-

tend to fulfill."

FAITH PROMISE PLEDGES:

We received $7160.00 in pledges last Sunday.  We need an esti-

mated $10,000.00.  Thank you for this great response!  If you have

not made your "faith promise pledge", fill out a Faith Promise Card

(in pew racks) today and drop it in the offering plate. Thank you for

supporting the many Nazarene ministries beyond the walls of this

local church.  "Change the World for Jesus!"

               COMMUNITY NEWS

For those in the community who are having a

struggle financially, there is a little relief in sight.

The Angel Food Ministries now has a drop-off

location here in Victoria, and you can get a

box of food that is put together to last a family

of four approximately two weeks.  It's only

$30.00 a box, and you can add other

              packages as well, if needed.

Whether you make $100,000.00 a year or

             $5,000.00, you are approved.

This is a great time to help those who may be

struggling due to rising costs of fuel and other

expenses.  If you know someone or a family

who would benefit from this, please have them

  visit:  www.angelfoodministries.com, or call

the church office for more information.

You can order online.  The food is delivered to the

People's Community Center on Tidewater Ave.

once a month.  This is a great resource to have in

the community, and we need  to spread the word

         about this wonderful organization.
