THANK YOU NOTES:

Thank you for the beautiful plant the church sent me.

Thank you for your prayers and concerns.  May the Lord continue to bless the Victoria Church of the Nazarene and your ministry there.  God bless you all.

Bill Taylor

We want to thank the church for your prayers for Neda.  We especially want to thank Judy Wilmoth for staying with us at the hospital and helping in so many ways that day.  We are blessed to have such a caring and praying church.

                                  Franklin & Neda Smith

Thank you for the pretty dish garden the church sent

me when I was in the hospital.  It brightened my hospital room.  That meant a lot to me.

FOOD PANTRY:

Patsy Scott is in charge of the town's food pantry, and she would like to thank everyone for your gracious response to the need for dry and non-perishable foods.   Many families were fed through your concern and love.  Our church is continuing its food drive throughout the winter months.  Bring in your donations and place them around the altar.

NEWS FROM THE CHURCH LIBRARY:

Visit the library.  It's for everyone.  A good way to support the library is to check out books that will be helpful to you.  They could be inspiring,

encouraging and spiritually needful in your walk with God.  Just think, it doesn't cost anything.  There are many books to choose from, and we also have free magazines.  It has been said that if you read 15 minutes a day, you will have read 13 books in a year.       Annie Caudle, Librarian

FINANCIAL UPDATE

It is a sacred privilege to be a part of the worldwide Church of the Nazarene.  By pooling together our prayers, talents and finances, we can truly impact the world for Jesus.

Each Nazarene Church is asked to financially support (1) our missionaries (720 full time missionaries in 155 countries)  (2) our Nazarene College (Eastern Nazarene College)

(3) the retired pastor pension fund and (4) the Virginia District.

To meet our obligation, we are asked to contribute a total of $4,400 monthly to these four branches of our church.

By you faithfully tithing, we are sending out

missionaries, training young people to serve and lovingly supporting our retired warriors.
