ANNOUNCEMENTS
There will be no evening service today. We will re-
sume the Sunday evening service next week.
7:00 pm Tuesday (Jan5) Church Board Meeting
7:00pm Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Prayer.
We will be starting a new study in I John. This book was
written to the early church when the splendor and glory of Jesus had begun to fade. John wrote this book when some
of the flame of devotion had begun to flicker and die.
Plan to attend this study. You will be challenged and
blessed. It will help establish a spiritual foundation in
your life!
Men's Breakfast - Saturday, January 9th at 8:00am at the
Victoria Restaurant. Bring a friend!
Ladies Breakfast - Saturday, January 9th at 9:00am. They
will meet at the Uptown Café.
Patsy Scott is in charge of the town's food pantry. She
greatly appreciated the food we collected. She stated that
the need is extremely great and the food supply is very
low. I told her our church would make collecting food an
on going ministry throughout the winter. Any dried and
canned food is needed, but she made a special request for
black eyed peas, soups, and canned vegetables. She also
said she could use cash donations when a special need
arises. Bring in any of your donations and place them
around the altar. "When did you see me hungry and fed
me?"
NEW YEAR'S THOUGHT
Questions to ask yourself at the end of each day:
1. What mighty deeds of God did I witness today?
2. Where did I see the grace of Jesus at work?
3. Did I ask at least one person if I could pray for
their needs today?
